Editorial policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy sets out the standards TaajX applies to everything it publishes: how we choose topics, where our information comes from, and how we check and correct it, so you know what you are trusting when you read us.
1. Editorial responsibility
Every tip is reviewed before it is published. Each one carries its author's name and publication date, and if it is substantially changed afterwards it shows a "Last updated" date.
2. Accuracy and fact-checking
Accuracy comes first, because wrong financial information can cost a reader real money. Before publishing we make sure that:
- Every figure, rate or regulatory limit comes from a reliable source, with its date where needed, because prices and rules change.
- Important figures are confirmed by at least two independent sources wherever possible.
- Hypothetical worked examples are clearly labelled as hypothetical.
- Anything we cannot verify is removed.
3. Sources
We rely first on official and primary sources, such as central banks, capital market authorities, statistics agencies and government regulations, and then on reputable news and reference organisations to cross-check. We name and link our main sources at the end of each tip.
4. Education, not advice
Our content is general and educational. We do not recommend buying or selling any particular share, fund, currency or product, and we cannot take your personal circumstances into account. Consult a licensed financial professional before any decision that affects you.
5. Islamic finance questions
When a tip touches on zakat or Islamic banking, we present the recognised scholarly views neutrally and refer readers to official fatwa bodies and qualified scholars. We do not issue fatwas.
6. Independence and conflicts of interest
Our editorial decisions are independent. We are not paid to mention any company or product, and nobody we write about may review a piece before it is published. Any sponsored content, if we ever publish it, is clearly labelled.
7. Advertising
The site may show ads, including third-party ads such as Google's. Ads are clearly separated from editorial content, and advertisers have no say in what we write. Cookie details are in our privacy policy.
8. Images and tools
Some images are generated or purpose-made illustrations; we describe them as illustrations, and they do not depict real people or products. We may use AI tools for research and first drafts, but every text is reviewed and checked before publication and remains our editorial responsibility.
9. Corrections and updates
When we find an error or one is reported to us, we review it straight away and fix confirmed errors as soon as possible. If a correction changes the meaning of a tip, we add a note saying so. To request a correction, contact us.
10. Comments
We welcome constructive discussion. Comments are reviewed before they appear, and we may remove anything abusive, misleading or promotional, or anything containing personal financial details.
